GalleryWatch.com™ Unveils New Time Tracking Tool
"Time-Tracker" Lets Firms and Other Clients Monitor Legislative Research Hours
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, Texas, and Washington, DC, October 28, 2002 - GalleryWatchTM, which provides enterprise-wide workflow applications and collaborative tools for real-time monitoring of the federal and Texas legislative and regulatory processes, has released the GalleryWatch "Time-Tracker."
By providing attorneys, lobbyists, and other government affairs professionals with the ability to audit and document their legislative research efforts, the "Time-Tracker" tool enables subscribers to track their time by client and subject matter in standard billing increments, or by the minute. That information can then be downloaded for importation into their own internal billing system. Each time a user logs onto GalleryWatch, they will be able to select from a personalized list of clients and subject matters for which they would like to have that specific time-usage documented. Users can alternate between clients and subject matters in the same session while the system monitors to whom the accumulated time should be charged. Additionally, "Time-Tracker" automatically stops the billing timer after a specified period of inactivity, or in the event of a lost internet connection, and logs only the appropriate amount of time the system was used.
"Time-Tracker" is the latest tool to be integrated into the complete suite of services offered by GalleryWatch.com. Other services provided by GalleryWatch on the federal level include tracking and searching capabilities on legislation, congressional members and committees, and agencies, Congressional VIP™ (Voting Information Plus!), which enables users to effortlessly track and analyze Member voting history and patterns, and GalleryWatch's USBudget service, the most comprehensive source of information on the $2.1 trillion federal budget and appropriations process, which offers in-depth analysis and summaries on all the components and line-item program details of the budget. Notification capabilities for most GalleryWatch services in the federal and Texas markets include receiving timely information via e-mail, text messaging, PDA's, pagers and dynamic web page display.
Texas services include bill and agency searching, tracking and notification, voting scorecards, comprehensive news coverage, and committee transcripts. GalleryWatch's Bill Analysis Management System (BAMS™), available only in Texas, is an enterprise-wide workflow application which manages resources, tracking, analysis and scheduling for legislative information and research efforts throughout an organization. Task delegation, reporting, analysis, archived bill histories, and notification on bill/amendment status and scheduling are provided through a web-based interface.
